stay away from cheap caps they get hot and cause misfires at high rpm
autozone brand is the worst

for wires i use the 9mm ford racing they hold up good and they are only like $40

The Ford PCV's I've been getting lately have two 90 barbs. I've not received a straight one like Mike mentioned.

FWIW, if someone has a metal PCV valve with a plastic attachment for the barbs, often you can break the plastic off, leaving a straight metal fitting to attach a hose to.

Don't forget the new MOTORCRAFT PCV grommet (so you have a tight fit) and to clean the breather or replace it.

I'm not as rigid with plug, wire, cap/rotor, and fuel filter recommendations as some other people are.

IAC= Idle Air Control Valve it is the cylindrical thing attached to the throttle body Hope that helps

Gene, don't clean the IAC unless you're prepared to replace it. Sometimes they don't take nicely to being cleaned.
