Turbines are 15x8? I thought they were 15x7.

they're 15x7's, and 255's are about as big as you wanna go.

For any 15/7 rim, you wanna go with a 265/50/15....best tires you can use. They're slightly shorter than your typical stock tire, but they're nice and wide. BFG makes a 265/60 but that's an oddball size and you'll really have to poke around to find'em. Those would be perfect though. The ones i'm talking about are readily accessable at Pep Boys, and they're cheap and still grip reasonably good.

BTW, by cheap i mean the last set i bought were right under 70 a piece...that's not bad, and they took a whole years worth of burnouts before they went bald.

Do you remember which model BFG's those were?

My rear 225's are getting pretty bald & they'll probably need replacing long before I can afford bigger wheels. I don't want to spend a lot of money on 15" tires, but still want something that will handle and hook up decently...

I use stock size Pirelli P6 touring. They cost a grip but I love them to death. When they warm up, you'd swear they had claws on them!!! I replaced two tires a month and had them rotated when I got the last one.

I actually don't know, the guy at Pep Boys told me about them the last time i bought tires from them because i wanted their Futura tire in 265/60 but they only come in 265/50, and he told me the only tire they carried in that size was a BFG, i'm guessing it was more than likely a Comp T/A.
