A buddy of mine is making close to 600hp on a junkyard turbo setup...bent all his pipe himself and it's running low 10s, knockin on the 9 second door.

Yes sir, down to the stock intake. He was making low 500s with a stock intake, not sure what he's running now, but he's close to 600. He's got aftermarket heads but i'm not sure what they are. The bottom end is bone stock though. Yes, the block is on borrowed time.

ok i stand corrected, he's not as close to 600 as i thought....but he is still making 535rwhp/611ftlb and running 10.67 @ 135.44, still on stock short block.

Ooooh i didn't mention that it's one of the sickest looking coupes on Earth, and he even did the paint himself. The guy's a natural. He's a member on our local forums and this is the second time he's done this paint job on this car (he gets bored a lot i guess) but this time it's 100% better...

Custom hood....that's a stock steel hood..

And now for the icing on the cake....we're all pretty blown away with this one. Look for this car to be on the cover of all the 'stang mags soon...

Not yet, he hasn't posted any Actually i haven't even seen it in person myself yet. I might have to go over this weekend and take some really high res shots for him. It sickens me that the guy does this all in a little garage behind his house! He works his ass off though so i can totally respect a guy who does it himself instead of paying for it...but i guess not everyone has that ability.

dude that flag on top is the sickest thing.was that car in one of the stang mags?anyway i only have about 1k into everything including the turbo.i got everything else off ebay.the intercooler,bov and a cheap boost controller all brand new i paid 180 bux to my door,the wastegate was 110 to my door used for one weekend so pretty much brand new.i spent more on the piping than anything else,and the turbo was 580 to my door brand new.thanks for all the comments so far guys.

we have another dude on the site who's a badass welder...he does all kinda of crazy custom aluminum crap...i don't know how he does it either, but he did that hood for him. His car also runs mid 10s on a nasty 4.6 all motor.

yeah...Cincinnati rocks
