turbo kit setup. Need advice on motor internals to handle the power

theres a bunch of stuff your not thinking of. trust me. i ended up spending over 7k on my shortblock till the time it was all said and done. dart blocks are the way to go, but you have to ask yourself is the price tag worth it.

I am def. going to make sure the driveline can handle everything. The main thing is to get the built tranny and motor and the turbo kit.

I am going to call the shop in a little while and get them to price me a
-dart shortblock w/ forged internals
-built transmission w/ clutch or tremmec tranny w/ clutch
-built rearend(my friend had his done there for $900)
-turbo kit install
-tune

I will also talk to them about everything done with a h/c/i package. Since they will have the motor completely out.. it will be cheaper to have them do it all at one time. I might pickup some used gt40 heads, cobra manifold, and then get a custom cam.

With low compression pistons, how much boost could I run safely?? Or is the dart block w/ scat internals bulletproof?? lol
