Hey Guys,

I need some help.. My brother has a SRT 4 and he upgrade his turbo, intercooler, and wastegates.. I was thinking on using those things to turbo my 91 fox mustang… But I really don’t know what other things that I mite need.. I could get the piping from the internet..

My car has a lot of bolt on and 24 pounds injectors, 255 fuel pump, MSD box, 4:11 gears, trick flow upper and lower intake,

Let me know what you guys think...

that would be pretty rad

Just find out what kind of flange they have and you can get turbo headers for 'em.

You are planning on using the stock SRT-4 stuff. I would think they would be a little undersized. What do you have for HCI? I think your car is going to flow A LOT more air than a 4 cyl srt-4...so remember you are going to see a fair bit less boost than your brother was seeing on the neon. Sounds like fun though...turbos are the way to go on a 5.0.

The stock SRT4 turbo will probably be way undersized for your engine. It will probably end up being a large restriction in the exhaust. Since it was designed for a much smaller engine, it will most likely spool really quickly but then max out the boost. I would suggest selling the stuff on ebay or forums to someone wanting to turbo their neon and use the money to start a properly sized turbo kit.

Turbo would be way too small, but if you find another it would be perfect for a twin turbo setup. Now referring you to turbomustangs.com, please hold...
