So, whenever I try to activate the turn signal on my Mustang, sometimes the lever won't lock into place and, instead, squish in and bounce out, or squish in and stay rather than click.

What would cause that?

Not sure but wish I knew mine does it to...honestly all my stangs have done it. It's always the left signal. I just move the wheel the other way and 99 percent of the time it will click and stay. Lol

Yup! It's the same direction for mine, too!

One of my friends had a similar issue. His would not stay on turning right, so he had to hold it, and turning left, it would not turn off, so he had to click it back to the middle. After doing that a while, wipers and stuff started activating randomly......

He just bought a new switch from rockauto. It was between $50-60, but he hasn't had an issue since.

Yea I think the auto release just wears out. I'll leave it alone until I start having wiper issues. Lol
