turning the Dmobile into an 86?

Well I actually own the 86 currently (co-own...sorry conartist ) but after SIGNIFICANT time in researching current 'drive clean' act I think I've actually found a loophole that will enable me to get the car plated....expensive (somewhat) but reasonable and legal option to persue. The 86 now sits as a project car that we are currently discussing possible options with...the car is just so very nice it seems a shame not to attempt to do something with it...but what we just don't know YET. Thanks for all the kind words regarding the car..I love it as well and though I enjoy taking on big projects I was uncertain about what the right thing to do was to accomplish the goals. However the desire to tackle the engine bay is a priority for me and I truely hope to jump into the project (with conartists help ) as soon as the leaves begin to turn color.
