I haven't been on here in a looong time.

Background: I have a stock bottom end 302 with ported gt-40s, e cam and cobra upper that has a ported lower (to 1250 gasket). Car has been used only slightly since I did this a few years ago. 280 rwhp dyno.

Now the real question: I want to swap these heads and gt40 lower over to my 1996 Explorer V8 and improve the Mustang.

I'd like another 25 hp. What would be a good replacement head/intake combo?

While I'm not much of a fan of alphabet cams

Take a look at one that I think is pretty good

Of course ... the 1.72 rockers help the cam a bit

Notice the use of an OEM meter as well

280 rwhp with your combo is pretty impressive. ive got a friend of mine with a 91gt with a custom holman moody cam, eddy performer heads, eddy rpm intake w/ basically the same supporting mods you have that is putting 321 to the wheels. i think with the any of the 3 heads your talking about with a better cam will give you the same results you are looking for.
