I have a brand new set of the pushrods you need, they were used only to break in a Comp Cams 280H camshaft and never driven even one mile. I can take some pics when I get back from my trip this week if you want to strike up a deal. My heads are going on a roller engine now so I no longer need these things. Let me know, but I'm leaving in the morning for a trip and will be back Wed for a short time before I leave agian that day til Fri. I might be able to get back to you on Wed if you are interested.
Thanks for the replies. I am ready to get my 66 back on the road again.
So it looks like the 7.300" should work according to Trick Flow's site. It also states that if you measure them with an adjustable pushrod that the measurement should be within 0.150 of 7.300" for a flat tappet cam.
Ronstang,
Are your pushrods the 7.300"? If they are just let me know and maybe we can work a deal.
I appreciate it.
Hmm, kinda strange...I have Trick Flow brand pushrods themselves and they are marked 7.250 in length and they are the ones recommended by TFS to run with their head on a 302 with a flat tappet hydraulic camshaft. They hit just right on the valve with Ford Motorsports Roller rockers. Maybe you should make a quick and easy adjustable pushrod and actually check what you need. I will be back Wednesday sometime and will check here before I leave again.
The specs on Trick Flow's website states that the pushrods should be
7.300" +/- 0.150". Your 7.250" are well within that tolerance.
I was hoping there would be several people here that have around the same length so I could just order and go.....
I see the 5.0 crowd buying the 6.700" ones, so I was hoping it would be that easy for me. I will try checking for the correct length tonight.
I used the 7.300" as well with my NON-roller cam, if you aren't sure just call or email Trick Flow and tell them what you got- they will tell you what you need.
Sorry Vinyl....I just got back today. I was only home for a few minutes on Wednesday and didn't even have a chance to turn on the computer. I am back. E-mail is Ronstang@juno.com if you still want to contact me or Ronstang1966 on AIM or Yahoo IM.
