I am rebuilding my car and hopefully it will be completed soon. I am looking for some suggestions on wiring up a two step and a line-lock. The car is a manual transmssion car and I would like to be able to stage the car and then activate the line-lock and two-step at the same time. I also would like to be able to release them in one motion. I was thinking of a clutch activated switch for the two step but then everytime I depressed the clutch during a pass it would drag the motor back to the low rev limit. Any ideas on how I could achieve this setup? Thanks, Pat.

I have my 2-step and line lock wired to the button on my t-handle. I also have them each going through toggle switches on the dash so I can switch which one the t-handle button activates. I never use them at the same time. Unless your track is slightly sloped, there's no reason to use a line lock at the starting line.

I wouldn't use line lock at the line either, and I also wouldn't want the 2 step to activate during gear changes either. Wire them so you can use them independently. When I had a 2 step, I only used it in the box and at the line. With a 3 step, which I currently use, you can have a burnout RPM and a launch RPM that are different.
