1st how do you get the stock shift knob off?
2nd How do you close the center console? Is there a button somewhere i am missing. No matter how hard i press on the armrest part it wont close.

stock shifter knob just comes off with some turning. Remember leftie loosie, rightie tightie

As for the arm rest, it should latch with some easy pressure. check to make sure there isnt a piece broken off that would keep it from latching

I once had the latch on my armrest get stuck so that it wouldn't close. Make sure the sucker moves freely.

knob is easy and they already told you how to do that..

as for your center console not closing did you **** with the latch before closing it? Pull the latch back again and close it.

The plastic piece that's inside the armrest might be in the down position, make sure it's up. You can flip it up with a flat-headed screwdriver...
