petronix 12v help

I would like help with my petronix unit on 1971 351c 2v mach with AT. I have read the posts about his unit and the 12v need, but I was wondering if you can hook up to the fuse box using one of the new type connectors, which can't remember the name? I only have a couple switched fuses that would work. The reason I ask is that an HEI distributor was installed in a friend of mines 73 el camino and it worked good.

The factory wrining should be all you need. You should be able to use the +12V terminal on the coil...
