hey guys i ordered some blueoval UD pulleys for 70.00 price range......and the altnaotr pulley wont fit on the alt........... will this mess things up? i cant return it cause i tried to make the whole bigger with no luck any ideas or suggestions? that is some good steel.. can i ditch it, or will it mess up the the size and etc......

If your belt tension is good then you should be fine. You may even be better off since you probably won't have the charging problem that some UD alt pulleys can cause. Quite a few guys don't run the UD alt pulley for that reason.

I have only the crank and water pump UD pulleys on my car and there aren't any issues. Well, now that I run a 130 alternator. Prior to that the lights would dim at idle and I had a hard time keeping the battery charged with the limited fair weather driving that I do with the car.

Actually, the stock pulley on the 130 alternator was very similar in size to the UD alternator pulley that I had on the stock alternator.

yah i figured judging from the size.....i think the main thing is the crank and water pump... just wanted to make sure that quarter inch of diamater difference wasn't the critical of keeping the battery charged:rolleyes:
