Keep in mind I am not trying to argue with you I just love fight strategizing almost as much as watching or actually fighting. Not very often I get other peoples views on fighters. The guys I train with usually have the same things to say as I do. I just wish the UFC had a deeper talent pool in the heavy weight division. it used to be pretty decent and they got caught up in the 155 class and let the big guys slide.

I hear ya. I've been going through my mind for the last couple of days trying to mentally scroll through the roster of UFC fighers and see who could stand a chance against Lesnar and just when I think I've got someone in mind, I picture the fight in my head and see just how bad it goes. The heavyweight tallent pool just isn't what it was years ago. And Lesnar being so seemingly unstoppable on top of it make it even harder at this point.

The thing w/ Lesnar is that his size speed and strength make up for his lack of skills as a well rounded MMA fighter even though his wrestling is very good. Even if someone got him down and was able to get top position he may not have all the skills to know how to get out of that situation but he does not have to, he can just power his way out of almost any situation. I saw the Fedor/Arlovski fight and while he did look better then in fights past I do belive the Pit bull of years past is no longer the fighter we have today. His defect from the UFC seems to show that. Seems as though the guys who cant hack it in the UFC anymore jump ship over to Japan. I'm not saying their fighters are not that good but the list of fighters that have come from pride to the UFC and had success is very short.

IMO it will be a very long time before anyone is a serious threat to Lesnar's belt. Guess that leaves him plenty of time to "get on top of his wife" . BTW he got a tongue lashing from Dana after the fight for his comments about dissing coors light and what he said to Mir "Talk your $hit now" after pounding his face in.

Looking at the heavy weight line up the only fighters that really catch my eye as possibly giving Lesnar trouble are Noqueira(very tough guy), Shane Carwin (who is rumored to have a shot if he wins his next fight), and just to throw a wild card in Antoni Hardonk(very sharp striking and brutal kicks). All of these are assuming a stand up fight I don't see anyone that could give him trouble in a clinch or on the ground. The heavy weight division is not stacked at all right now. If they are banking on Lesnar being the next big poster boy of the UFC they need to get some better fighters than the current crop.

Right now Andersen Silva and GSP are the scariest fighters as far as sheer talent goes IMO.

I have a question. Why is it everyone bags on Lesnar so bad for being a pro wrestler? It was just a job he did. Everyone say's he can't hack it or he sucks cuz he used to be part of the WWE. It was a job, just like any other job. He did it to make money and the decided he didn't want to do it anymore. For anyone who'd ever watched "pro wrestling" knows it's fake (fixed) but they should also recognize that it takes some great athleticism and pain tolerance to do the things those guys do. IDK about any of you but I damn sure don't want to get suplexed by someone, and damn sure not through a table. Fake or not that **** would still hurt! Let alone being a guy like Lesnar that's 6'3" and probably almost 300lbs is his WWE days doing a back flip off the top rope onto the mat below! Are you effing kidding me?!?! It just seems like the disrespect he gets isn't for a valid reason it my book. He's done a good job of proving people wrong that said he couldn't make it. If you want to hate the guy, hate him for flipping everyone off and being a poor sport. I LMAO when I saw his post fight interview. I thought it was great! I understand Dana being pissed for him ripping on Bud Light for not paying him but other than that I say let him be. Publicity is publicity. Like was mentioned before, we have a new Huntington beach bad boy now! More power to him!
