Well, with my 4 point rollbar in, I didnt have a need for the backseat, and decided to make a rear seat delete this weekend. I picked up 3 yards of grey vinyl, 1.5 yards of 1/2 foam, and 1.5 yards of 1 inch foam from Hancock fabrics. The color match of the vinyl to the factory seats was pretty close...

The other supplies I used were as follows, 2 48"x24" sheets of 1/4 inch mdf, one 3 inch swinging latch, and a can of spray adhesive. I didnt need any power tools for this project. I started out by cutting out a flame design in the 1/2 inch foam. I am no artist, but they turned out pretty well...

I installed a latch in the middle of the rear seat delete, so that I can lift up the bottom part of the rear seat delete and put things underneath it.

For the bottom part I covered the mdf with 1 inch foam to improve the look. Here is a picture of the final installation...

There are some wrinkles in the vinyl that I am still working on getting out, but overall I am happy with the outcome. The whole install was really simple, with the exception of laying the fabric on the flame design. Getting the design to turn out perfect is nearly impossible, I went through 3 trys before I got it the way I wanted it. I weighed the back seats and they were around 28 lbs with the seatbelts.
