Hey guys! I just got back my '66 Hipo GT which was in mid-restoration and I'm trying to piece some things back to together myself. There are some dangling wires under the hood and I don't know where there supposed to go or am I missing a part somewhere. I'd appreciate any input.

Looking at the attached pictures, the wires circled in red are the ones in question. Then there's a cable circled in green which appears to be coming from under the car and with the grommet, it looks like it's supposed to go through the firewall. Not sure where that's supposed to go too.

Thanks

That’s what I was thinking based on the shape of the cable. Do you know what it connects to under the car, and where it goes through the firewall? I don’t see a hole for that grommet. Thanks!

Go here:

Download the wiring diagram you need, match the color and stripping/hash marks, and you can answer your own question . Good luck.

I would replace that section of harness, it's been hacked up and quality replacements are easily obtained. Be sure to check the diagram provided in the previous post, and pick up a proper Ford 1966 shop manual - there's a ton of useful information in there.
