Hey guys, I got a bit of extra cash so I figured I'd pick up a nice set of underdrive pulleys to pick up a few extra ponies. I know that the aluminum pulleys are lighter than the steel but the steel are better for street applications which is pretty much what I need. Is there a difference in the performance of the two at all though? Do the aluminum pulleys free up more horespower than the steel or is it all the same? And does anyone know where i'd be able to find a set with a chromed finish, because I'm looking for nice show quality stuff.
Thanks

I run ASP Underdrives for the past three years without one problem.

It's not much more for the aluminum, and rotational weight counts for more than static weight. Steel would be better than none at all but I think the aluminum is better.

ive heard once or twice of the aluminum wearing a little (the grooves i think). i would not worry about it - if it was a real problem, there would be a thousand posts about the problem. get what you think is best. good luck and enjoy.
