OK guys, i need some serious opinions on underdrive pullies. stedda of course. I have been going back and forth about getting them for a long time now. The only reason i have'nt is because of the cons that i have heard ex: dimming lights cooling issues. I drive the car everyday in the summer and i don't want it to heat up or my ac not blow very cold if i'm sitting in traffic on a hot summer day. Has anybody had any of these problems? And are the pullies really worth it?

Forget it, it's not worth the money. Besides, what I have been hearing the 03 GT has more aggressive pullies then previous years. If that is the case, installing underdrives on these cars is a bigger waste of money. Just my 2 cents on all of this.

Look at my sig . The dyno results show gains from the pullies and the chip. Total 16hp improvement, and even more gains in torque. Even if you cut it equally, the pulley's netted me 8hp .
I have noticed no charging problems at all. They have been on my car for over a week now. I dont normally run ac so I have no clue as to how that was affected. As for the lights, if Im stopped at a light with the radio blasting, defog on, and then try to roll up or down my windows, then yeah I notice a bit of dimming, but nothing that noticable.

I've had mine on for over a year and wouldn't go back to stock. You can feel a difference, and I've had no problems with dim lights, A/C or heating up!
Get them and you won't be sorry.

I dyno-d 6 RWHP, 6 RWTQ gain from my Steeda pullies.

All of my guages read EXACTLY where they did before the install.

I have no probs in the different seasons with cooling/charging issues.

They are kind of a waste of money Imo not much horse. I ended up replacing 2 alternators fter getting them. Besides the newer stangs have better pullies on them anyway. Get a plenum an tb or some gears or something. Just y 2 pennies.

Pullies by themselves are worth it. But all cars respond differently. I've had Steeda pullies for 2.5 years and I have no problems. Do yourself a favor and purchase the Steeda T/A with them unless you plan on adding a chip.

i have the pullies on my 03 gt and love em. no problems with dimming lights, or cooling issues. i personally think the pullies are worth it. i went with them and the t/a at the same time. you can check out the dyno i had done, only mods were the pullies and t/a. numbers in and link to dyno sheet are in my sig.

Ya its right . I know everybody thinks i'm nuts. But i was undecided when i did them so i went with less of a change. I'm pretty happy with them. I don't drive the car hard 99 % of the time so thats why i decided on 3:55. But htere is a difference believe it or not.

How's that densecharger treating you? I want to get that for my '02 but everyone has mixed feelings about it. Is there really an increase in hp and rwtq? Does it also save on gas?

i've had pullies for quite awhile now, i very highly recommed them. i got march, they were cheaper than steeda, and it's the same damn thing without the name

no problems with cooling, electrical, anything, they are the 'Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me''Kiss Me'. good investment

I have had pullies on for a year, I am a track whore and document all my runs and i can say that i gained a solid .5+mph from them, my t/a was set stock 10* and i have yet to run with it on. P.S. i bought used pulleys from a cobra owner so i cannot use the u/d alt. pulley, i'm only using water pump and crank untill i find someone that will trade me.
