As some of you may know, my Tri-Ax snapped just below the shifter pivot on the shaft. Following the advice of some people here, I contacted Steeda and sent the shifter off to them a week ago. I sent it two-day priority and called their sales manager three days later and he had not seen anything from me yet. I called two days later, still he syas he hadn't seen it. I called two more days later and I get the same story. At this point I'm thinking that I should have gotten a tracking number for the package. Well, today my wife calls me at work and says that we got a package from Steeda. Woo hoo!
They replaced the broken part at no charge just as they said they would! They stand behind their product alright!
When I called them I informed them that I bought the shifter 7 years ago and they didn't even hesitate to take it back. Seven years! Now I understand that this kind of support isn't to be expected with every performance part so I give Steeda a big
on this one. I was ready to go out and buy a different brand shifter from a local shop (because it was in stock) but Steeda got my back on that one.
