Below are my most recent dyno numbers. Those of you that have been following my KB set up, will remember that my last dyno run showed an amazing 373 rwhp. However, my speed limiter (shaft) limiter was kicking in at 5,600 RPM. Prior to that run, it was the rev limiter that was kicking at 5300 RPM. KB sent two chips to take my rwhp to where it should be. Today I hit the dyno again to try out the new chip sent by KB. I waited for about half an hour for my turn and that allowed the engine to cool off a bit which I think helped a lot in achieving my new dyno numbers. Enough said...here are the new numbers:

398 rwhp @ 5800 RPM / 411 rwtq (Power Mode, Pump Gas, KB Tune)
418 rwhp @ 5900 RPM / 436 rwtq (Shootout Mode, 100 Octane Gas, KB Tune)

There is more potential left on the engine, but I didn't want to rev it up much more. If I had allowed the engine to cool off completely I bet I would have seen 425+ rwhp as the KB chip retards the spark timing based on ECT and intake temperature. I will try the 11 psi pulley next month. You all guessed it...I'm a happy man!

Thanks Michael. How's your car handling? Have you experienced any driveability issues with that power level? I'm saving up $$$ to stroke my engine sometime this year. My goal is to reach at least 550 rwhp... I need to give Tim a call. Take care.

You do realize the shootout mode is made to up to the psi to 14 not just increase timing. You should be putting out well over 500 with shootout and a 14 pound pully
