Im thinking of some upgrades for my mustang to do this spring. This is what I came up with:

24lb Injectors
MAF to match
FMU 24lb Upgrade
65-70mm Throttle Body
UPR Boost Pipe
Bypass Valve
Maybe a pulley

What do you guys think?

I chose 24lb injectors because Ive read that if I upgrade to 42lb injectors would most likely need a dyno tune to make it run right, and i dont have the funds right now.

I also have a question about a 65mm 5.0 thunderbird throttle body, are they the same as a mustang throttle body, i know somebody that will give me one for a cheap price?

I don't think t-birds came with a 65mm TB.

Also, what year t0bird? The 91-93 5.0 HO one or the 86-90 5.0 SO t-bird? If it's the 91-93 they use an SN95 throttle body so it won't work. And if it's the early 5.0 then it's not 65mm. If it's aftermarket, it's most likelt a mustang throttle body anyway.

With a supercharger i would prefer to ditch the FMU and run the 42's and get a tune. I would save til you have the funds to do so as it will be safer in the long run and you'll get more out of it.

I believe its aftermarket, so it should work.

Im working with a limited budget, but i want to do it right but it might just take some time to save, the reason why i chose some of the mods i did is because i have and A-Trim and it starts to become inefficient at around 45,000 RPM. I have been told that the max boost i can get out of efficiently is 7-8 psi.
