upgrade options...

i was recently thinking about some upgrades i could do...i recently cane into bout $1,000 and was looking for an upgrade, i was considering gears but was also thinking of some engine stuff too, so anyone have any ideas.... and remember bout a grand is my spending limit, that includes installation

Those prices are pretty optimistic. Gears are a great first mod, and you should look there first.

Are we talking completely stock ride here? If so:

Gears, gears, gears. If it's a 5-speed, get a nice shifter. With the rest, start replacing the stock exhaust. Start at the mufflers and work your way forward until you run out of money.

i guess i should have mentioned before....ive already got a full exhaust (1 5/8 inch ford racing headers, bassani x-pipe, and flowmaster cat-backs, along with a tri-ax shifter and eibach lowering springs (which are still in my room))
i was leaning twords gears and a new traction lock unit sicne my car is suffereing from the one wheel burnout blues
