I am purchasing TCP UCA (Upper Control Arms). I have stock suspension with 17x8 Edelbrock 454 rims as of now. My front tires wear out super quick and everyone I asked told me I should lower the UCA but never really told me how much to lower them by. Any clues?

That's a great low cost (as in free) modification. Since you didn't say what year your car is, the best thing I can tell you is to get ahold of a Tony D. Branda catalog. It has an easy to follow, step by step procedure as well as templates for dropping the upper control arms. While I have seen some templates posted by some very helpful folks here on Stangnet, be careful to get the right one for your year of car. The '65-'66 is different from the '67-up and you only get on chance to drill the holes in the right place! If you'd like PM me and I'll get you some pics of my '68 and give you some more info. Hope this helps,
Jim
