upper control arm question

Im looking into some control arms. ive already made up my mind on the lowers but i want to know what to do with the uppers. i want my car to stick in the corners, still have fun going around bends cause i dont drag that much. ive heard that leaving the stock uppers is what to do but i also heard after changing the lowers it will eat the uppers. so i was wondering if i should get just a hd, adjustable, or leave it.
btw- i have sportline springs

FRPP has heavy duty ones for cheap. i say those. adjustables are nice if you have the need to adjust but for the most part are a waste. Maximum motorsports doesn't even make uppers, they tell you to go buy the FRPP ones.

I'll second the FRPP ones. You want to use rubber, not poly in the upper bushings. The geometry of the rear suspension requires that it move "3D" - in all directions.

You can get HD bushings for the rear end hosing that the uppers connect to. I've seen them marketed (or are actually) HD Police bushings. They are supposedly twice as stiff.

If you are replacing the rear end housing bushings with normal ones, FRPP makes a kit that is cheaper for 2 than it is to buy them seperately. (or at least it used to be)

If you are replacing the bushings in the rear end housing, Maximum Motorsports makes a tool that makes it easy. It would be a bi**h without it.

I am with the others. I went with the FRPP uppers based on the MM website information. Don't regret it at all.

I went with the FRPP too, per MM. Order from Summit Racing, they are cheaper than MM. The uppers do not come with the bushings that mount to the rear end axle housing. And please get the MM removal tool it makes the job easy as pie. I think its about $10.

i personaly went wiht steeda upper and lower alum. ones pretty pricey but i think well worth it. and hell next day delivery from wher ei am i cant pass that up.
