You keep saying that... Where did you see me question anything other than their reputation?
As far as that goes... it took Google .25 seconds to fill a page with discussions etc. about various failures. I'm sure that for every one that someone can find there will be others that are perfectly happy with theirs (you for one appearantly).
So... back to my original question. Where does this reputation come from and what does the the part maker and marketer need to do to fix it?
How does the dude that chimed in from UPR feel their products compare in quality to the likes of Griggs or MM or any of the other companies that DON'T have this same reputation?
Is it sheer luck that there are multiple threads on every Stang forum about fitment, failure, and quality issues? If it's infounded, where does this stigma come from?
Oh wait... what I'm doing is bad-mouthing by asking the question?
