upr x pipe and 40series flows

:SNSign: how will that sound a upr o/r x pipe and flowmaster 40 series, because i just bought the upr with some of my 20k lol.....any one have any clips?

generally speaking, X and chambered muffler is not going to give you a good sound. But then sound of exhaust is very much subjective to eash person...

my friend has an off road H and the same mufflers on his 94 GT and they sound amazing. I bought the same set up(H-pipe and 40 Series) for my Mach 1. Should get here on Tuesday

Mustangkid... here's a link to a vid of my car from 2 years ago when it had a catted X w/ flowmaster 40 catback. The offroad pipe will make it a bit raspier and definitely louder than my setup, but you get the idea. I liked the sound, but my flows rusted out so I had to replace them.

Mustangkid- I had a Bassani X pipe and 40 series Flowmaster mufflers and it sounded great.The good thing
about the Bassani X pipe is that it is stainless steel so it
will not rust on you like the UPR X pipe will if it is exposed
to moister for some time.

Out of curiosity... if you just won $20,000, why didn't you spring for a stainless pipe? Like Bassani, SLP, Magnaflow. The UPR piece is good from what I've heard, I'm talking more along the lines of longevity though. Well either way, good luck w/ choosing your exhaust Put the money you saved towards the KB

I have LT's O/R H-Pipe and 40 series flow and to me it sounds perfect. Like mentioned above its all subjective but I have heard my setup with an X instead of an H and to me it was WAY to raspy. Why dont you use that 20K for a new car instead?

I've had my UPR X w/ flows on for about 3 years now and it still sounds awesome....



UPR X pipe is a good product..imo

BTW, Mustangkid05, what ever happened to your 03 Cobra you had? DId you traded for lowly GT? because most of us would upgrage rather then down grade, especialy if i win $20000 on scratch off. Oh and did you get V-6 one for your little bro?
