I was just kiddin RC... hence the at the end Just keep it outta the sun for an extended period of time. I had the older xplod in my old car that always sat outside, after about a year sometimes the screen would go blank and I couldnt adjust the volume for a few seconds.. But it looked nice and I liked the functions on it. I dont know if I got a bad one or if they fixed the problem that I had. I like pioneer CD players, but the ones C/C had were fugly Pioneer is all me and my bro get for our cars... They make a nice cheap CD player.

Thanks ZACH
I didnt want to go over $200, and the output on that unit is actually higher than the $400 ones. It was about $30 more at C/C than Ikes, but at least I can return it...no matter what, it is way nicer than stock and now I can play CDs/MP3's.
Thanks
RC

I can hook you up with a nice subwoofer box if you want to get some bass in your car too. I used to make them for myself and everyone at school (yea I was a ricer ) I used to make some crazy boxes back in the day. Could probably make one that will fit in the trunk so it takes up the whole space along the outside and maybe little storage spots in it for tools

Rob, you were able to hook up an aftermarket CD player to your mach 460? Tell me more... My CD player will play CD's but I have to beat the snot out of it to eject them. I have a RF punch DVC 12" sub along with a 600watt crossfire amp that I'd someday like to put back in the car, but it was too loud with the mach 460, and I didn't want the weight. Seeing as how I haven't raced my car in 2 months, it'd be nice to have some bump-in-the-trunk again. Does your CD player have a sub rca out?

Paul...CHeck the linke a few posts above!
It has 3-Preamp outs on it.
The unit replaces the Mach...NOT to use with it!.
I just got it tonight, and now Im watching the All Star game. I need to get the harness from Circuit CIty tomorrow. I comes with one harness that connects to the Unit. THen, you get a harness that connects to the Mach Wiring, and the 2 harnesses plug into each other.

Ill let you know how it goes.

I'll try my hardest to get down there for Towers. It'd be nice to meet up with the southern florida guys I'd probably have to leave there around 8:00 to get back home by 12:00. You need to get Joe to go there too!
