is there any reason i should careful about purchasing a "used" FMS aluminum driveshaft for my 90 GT? anything i should look for? just wondering b/c i'm finding a few of them on craigslist and a lot of them say they've only been used for a short amount of time. just wondering why they would use it for such a short time and then sell.

any pros or cons with installing this type of driveshaft? any help would be appreciated. thanks so much!!!

If its local pick up, check to make sure the U-joints (if included) are in decent shape. If not....count on knocking about $30 off the price per side.

Is it an aerostar driveshaft? I wonder sometimes if the number of used AL driveshafts on the market are simply junkyard aerostar driveshafts with 5.0 yokes.

Good point. Just measure it if you are not sure. I have had both and there is a huge difference in diameter. It is extremely easy to tell if it is a FMS.
