Heres my problem, I have a 95GT thats just stock and i really dont do much with it, and a 96 that is a show car. Im moving across the country, and I want to use the GT to tow the other mustang, not by the front two wheels like a hilbilly, but Ill buy a one car trailer and load it on. Do you think the 95GT would be able to tow it 2000 miles? Any other ideas on what I should do?

The drivetrain will do it, but you'll need to install a class III hitch for that kind of towing and I've never seen one for a Mustang. Further, the rear mustang subframe isn't strong enough for it. You'd also have to swap rear springs to handle the increased load.

So basically, don't do it. Just drop the money to have the car shipped. It's the best choice in the long run.
