There are several ways of doing it. You can get a complete dual exhaust kit with high flow cats, mufflers and pipes but if your engine is stock I would just put on a free flowing muffler. A stock V6 needs some back pressure or you'll lose your low end torque. If you have a super charger or turbo then the dual exhaust would be best. You can also install one free flow muffler and run dual pipes out from it to look like a dual exhaust but again you may hurt low end power on a stock V6. I found out the hard way on a 99 Camaro with the 3.8 that dual pipes cost power.
