So you feel the need to insult me on two threads huh? I admit I'm a little wet behind the ears yet, but I guess some people are living proof of what the Dodge guys say. Some of you Chevy and Ford guys are a bunch of pricks.

yes but why did you decide to join the pricks though???

Have you ever driven a car with a Detroit Locker? It gets old real quick on the street. If your looking to upgrade you might want to check out something like the "Detroit TrueTrac" or "Torsen T2R" you'll be much happier I'm sure one of the two will fit.

WTF are you talking about? Detroit Lockers have FINE street manners. I think your confusing the Locker style differential to a spool or mini-spool, which has horrible street manners.

For a street driven car looking to put down good times at the track and hook up well the Locker style differential is still the best compromise.

Well just get the GT man..jeeze. You know you want it, but something is holding you back. Get over it and buy the GT.
There is a different "feel" about the GT, maybe its the torquy engine or just the respect earn/felt when driving a V8 equipped car. And say when you pull next to a mach/cobra/another GT, you dont want to crall under the dash lol...You will hold your head high (especially when your car is modded). You feel like more of a "MAN" in a GT...V6s look kinda dare I say whimpy and make you feel that way lol. Really just need some wide tires and nice rims (same with the GT lol) and they look AWSOME.

I havnt ever driven the 05 V6, but I have driven the 05 GT (decently fast...didnt do it for me). It doesnt give you the same MANLY feeling of the 04s...feels like a girls/old person car (no offence..JMO) but im sure it gives more then the 6.

I wrote Ford and they confirmed your suspicions: The 05 V6 only comes with 6.7 Manly Points, or MPs, while the 05 GT has a whopping 8.3 MPs. It seems you are on to something! They weren't keeping official MPs on the 04, but an anonymous source told me that an 04 GT was giving off 8.8 MPs at the flywheel.

They also said that they included more "dash crawl" room in the 2006 V6s, and plan to eventually let V6 owners drive from under the dash with an impressive array of mirrors and sensors. Thanks for the valuable information! Keep us posted, won't you?
