ok guys i have searched until i was blue in the face.

i have a 1991 4 banger coupe im doing a v8 swap on. i also have a 1995 gt rear end thats going under it. the brake line on the 4 banger is of the the driver side. what should i do about this? and the sn95 rear has a different style connector that goes to the body. what should i do about this?

any advice on fixing this problem is much appreciated and if need be i can get pictures.

use the stock FOX lines and adapt at the caliper's rubber hoses....

i dont have any stock fox lines. i have the hard lines on the sn95 rear and i have the rubber line from the body of the 4 banger car.

on te 4 banger car the line drops down right about where my exhaust goes and its gonna hit it.

Assuming you will have dual exhaust, probably the best way to do it would be to get the hard line from the coupling on the firewall to the rear end from a V8 car, or make a new one. Second would be to adapt an extension and reroute the 4cyl line to where the V8 line should be. But that would involve cutting and reflaring lines.

On my Capri when I adapted a T-bird Rear end my hard line was routed in a different location then that rear end. I made a hard line that rerouted it over to the location of the "T" connector location on the T-bird rear end. I just got under and used a hanger to make the bends I needed then copied it to a 3 foot section I bought from Pep Boys and bent it to match the hanger.

Move the body line as it will hith the exhauist anyway when you put the duals on. Adapt it using a V8 line

On my capri it ran down the same side as it does on 4 cylinder cars and my brake line doesnt touch my dual exhaust. 82 Capri's has single exhaust that exited on the drivers side.

well i messed around and borke one of my lines today (story for talk later) so im just gonna buy a 10' roll of line some 3/8" and 1/4" flare nuts and make my own lines. im just gonna add some to them and use the stock 4 banger rubber unit as the body connection source.

i will have pictures in my progress threrad in the next few days. this is gonna be a major P.I.T.A
