Hey fellas!
I have an 87' coupe DD that I bought for the cheap. It has had a serious cold start problem along with vaccum problem since I bought it. The 2.3 starts fairly easy, but immediately starts shaking badly. When you tap the accelerator it smooths right out for about 15 seconds then it dies. It will do this over and over again for around 3 or 4 minutes untill warm. But wait it's not over yet. When you drive the car it loses all vaccum when you are 1/2 throttle or more, thus making the a/c go to defrost, and the power brakes fail, along with the transmission going into neutral from vaccum loss to the trans. I have thoroughly checked all vaccum lines for leaks, and did a compression test looking for blown headgasket. Everything seems normal.
Any ideas?
