Vacuum Leak inside dash (control panel)

I have a loose vacuum hose in my dash - it's a black hose with a yellow stripe on it, coming out of the function selector knob on the A/C control panel. All of the other vacuum hoses that come from the same tree connect to another harness behind the glovebox - but this one goes off somewhere else by itself and I can't see any place that it might connect to.

Does anyone have any ideas? Anyone with a fox that has the dash out at the moment?

I can't find any diagrams and none of the repair manuals says anything about it.
