Do i need the vacuum line that goes into the firewall with the A/C? All my A/C is removed except the condenser(?) in the dash. Is that line essential to normal heater controls?

Im in the process of cleaning up all my wires and vac lines while I wait for the k-member to come in.

Just finished routing the wires that are normally running along the radiator through the front core support. pretty slick

Wheres a good place for the ccrm? I don't have a lot of room on the passenger side because of the turbo and IC tubing

That small vacuum line feeds the entire ventilation system. If that line is broken, your vents will only blow through the defroster, never the vents or the floor. Don't have any advice for the CCRM, sorry.

The "radiator" for the A/C is called the condenser, I believe. 95cbr331 is talking about the cylinder that bolts to the firewall on the passenger side. According to Rockauto.com it's called the Receiver Dryer.

The evaporator is under the dash, the condenser is in front of the radiator, and drier/accumulator is the canister that mounts to the firewall with the cycle switch on it.

yes the evaporator...couldnt think of the word at the time. lol.
but yeah I guess i'll keep that vac line. and i was thinking of placing the ccrm on the inside of the bumper on the pass side

So i got my motor and the new k-member squared and in, in 5 hours the other night. prettty good time i think. Now i'll slowly piece her back together over the next few months.
