I recently bought a Laser Red '98 Cobra that has a set of staggered chrome 18" Saleen wheels on it. From what I can tell the wheels are the Chinese version of the Saleen wheels as they have "Saleen" stamped on them next to the valve stem. Wheels are in perfect condition and tires have less than 2,000 miles on them. Tires are Yokohama AVS Sport; 295/35/18 in the rear and 265/35/18 in the front. Previous owner has a receipt for the tires of $1400.
I'm still undecided if I like these wheels (not a huge chrome fan). I also don't know if I want 18's or if I'd rather go with 17's and a bit beefier sidewall, maybe like polished silver FR500's, I had previously thought I may want '03-'04 Cobra wheels, but now I'm thinking those may be too plain, so really FR500's would be my top choice.
So...if I were to sell these wheels and tires what could I get for them? I haven't seen many for sale locally, so I'm a little lost for what they would be worth.
