VALVE COVER CHROME NUTS

I am going to order some valve cover nuts (chrome) to match the chrome valve covers im getting. i was wondering how many nuts hold on the valve covers? is it 4, 6, or 8? The set i am buying comes in sets of 4. thanks for your time!
