Valve covers and Roller rockers

I have a V8 auto and I was thinking about changing it over to manual, although I'm not sure I know everything that's involved in this. Any help? I plan on eventually racing at Atco (NJ) and I'd like to get done as fast as possible. Is it worth it? Thanks in advance.

if u race at atco CHOOSE THE LEFT LANE - or just go to cecil - i didnt like atco cuz u cannot go around the water in the burnout box - if ur switching to manual, buy a junked manual car and that way you have everything from linkage to trans to pedals ... good luck
