This was a bracket race. I was off the bottle... or it would have looked better than this. :D

I like these pic too:

Very inconsistant last w/e. It was our track rental day and HOTTER THAN HECK in summer time.

Everyone got burned to a crisp. What kinda screwed me was the fact they were running our top 16 heads up at the same time as the fast bracket. Which meant I had to keep my fuel pressure at 43psi for the bottle... and didn't have time between runs to turn it down.

I lost 3-4 tenths across the board N/A with the fuel pressure up 4 psi over normal. The car wouldn't idle well either. No CE lights this time though.

Having the ability to adjust the timing in the car was awesome. I was running 90 octane on the juice. Yeah, yeah, that's not good. I slowly kept buming the timing back up toward stock each run. I'm happy to say the extra spark from the 6AL let me run 9 degrees of timing on the 125 shot. I ran out of runs, but it acted like it could go to 10 degrees without any problems.

Now I have to advance my timing to 17.5 degrees so I can retard it back with the control module. I'll see how far I can get the timing to go N/A.

I think my tires are finally showing their age. 2.17 was my BEST 60ft - and it got worse from there. Didn't matter if I stalled up, babied the launch... put heat to the tires, or didn't. :bang:

Yeah when I went to Sac raceway last week it was hotter than **** too. I couldnt cut better than 2.2 60's. I think it was the heat killing my times cause I really expected to improve. Wish I would have got her running sooner so I could have ran her in colder weather. I was running 40 lbs of FP at the track and I think it was too much. I dropped it to 38 last night and it feels better. I wonder how low I can take it.

Unless you get it on a dyno with Wideband... all you can do is keep trying it. I wouldn't go below 36... just because I've never heard anyone go below that. :rlaugh: No good reason I know.

Every car is different, and different mods do different things to cars. I could NOT run more than 6 degrees of timing with the 125 shot the last couple of years. And that was on 93 octane. Now for some reason I can run 9 degrees in the blistering heat with a tank mixed of 89 and 91 octane. Sure suprised me. This old 6AL box must be helping. If it wasn't for the car sounding different when I turned the knob, I would swear it didn't raise the timing back up. :D My times were worse than last time, but I'm having a hard time launching the car. I had ONE run where my trap was 107.22

yeah I was thinking 36 was what I was going to try. But your right never heard anyone go lower than that. I was at the track and running 38 then decided to bump it to 40 for my next run and ran nearly the exact same et and mph. Im at the point where Im not taking my car back to the strip without something that will seriously improve my times. (zex kit or a stall)

That's a tricky question. It's a 2,800 - 3,000 stall so you can feel it in that area and below. It's hard to explain... it's like you can drive the car so you don't really notice it... but when you want to notice it... it's there waiting to pounce. LOL

As far as acceleration when you are rolling.... there again depends on what you mean by rolling. I can now be going across the parking lot at 10-15 mph in first (remember I manual shift) and stomp it... it'll lay rubber for 15 feet if I let it.

Ease into that stomp a bit, and the car will just jump and go with very little spin.

If you mean like a roll as in Ricer Roll... no, doesn't help a whole lot. You still have the same problem of making sure you aren't inbetween the power of your gears. :p

Well one of my favorite things to do is the 3rd to 2nd downshift. WHen my speedo is at 50 and I floor it, it shifts into 2nd and takes off. Prob the only time my car feels "fast" So I was just wondering if it helped in situations like that. LOL yeah I guess that is the Ricer roll isnt it.
