my car has a vibration while driving... you can feel it all threw the gears you can also hear like a humming noise... also if u put ur feet on the floor you can feel the vibration pretty good... only thing i can think of is my balancer? anyone have a similar problem??

In addition to Bernie's thoughts, does it only make the vibration while in motion, or can you create it while revving the motor while the car is stationary?

Have you checked clearances on things like the fan, steering shaft, etc (those would be things I check after Bernie's ideas, as he hit the first things I would check).

Good luck.

How does the vibration relate to the speed of the vehicle?

How does engine load and RPM effect the vibration?

What does it do when you take a corner?

From your current description, it doesn't help much.

i really havent check it out yet... umm i think it only happens while im driving... so if i rev while in park i get nothing... doesnt matter how fast im going or how high i rev or if i taking corners or such the slight vibration is there.... it never increases or decreases.. how do i know if my driveshaft is balance??? oh and the humming is coming from the motor not the rearend or right under me!

I gotta say that I would start simple and run a cylinder balance test. A miss might not be felt at idle but will under load (while driving).
Just my thinking. Good luck.

It is most likley in your drivetrain or in the wheels. Separated tires will do this. I can't be certian unless I feel it (I tried to tell her that) so I don't quite know what to say.

ok guys i found the problem! Get this, a HUGE ass screw was in my front left tire... i get no vibration like before or the humming noise! so i patched it and bam it went away lol! at least it was something small!
