Really nice car, and fast. Some good footage, but I hate when they put crappy music really loud over a video so you can't hear the car.

I kinda miss going to KCIR ... in some weird masochistic sort of way...

Not only does the car look damn nice, it's a helluva good runner, and the driver's got some VERY quick shifts goin' on there. (His left leg is a friggin' blur in the first couple of gears.)

That is how you want it to look when you launch. Nice car, great setup.

If I had a TKO I could bang gears faster than hell all day, it just sucks that I have a beat up T5 that whines and grinds like a sumbitch.

That shifting is nothing to write home about. He's just granny shifting quickly. Nothing impressive at all.

Haha. Can't say I've punched myself in the face shifting before. But, I thought I put my hand through the dash one time on a 2-3 with grease on my hand. Luckily no damage was done, and I still made the shift

Done that, myself, when the lower bolt of my shifter wiggled loose and dropped out during a quick 2-3 shift. Wound up taking a nice meaty chunk out of my second knuckle because I hadn't bought a replacement trim bezel to go around the A/C controls, and that sucker's got some sharp edges on it ... or at least it seems sharp when you go punching it like that...

Even if you call that "granny shifting," it's still better than I can manage. But then, I have to drive my car a little less psycho than I should to net times, because I have to still be able to drive the thing home after hitting the track and then drive to work the next morning.

Sweet video, even sweeter car.

If that is "nothing special" shifting, I don't know what is. That's a hell of a lot faster than I can shift.

It may look quick. But, It's hard to listen to the car because he has the music too loud.
