video of dyno pull

not exactly low compression....9.5-1. I built the motor for power then added the turbo after that.
That's pretty low compression for all motor.
yup, n/a on a chassis dyno. It made 310 before the heads and cam and throttle body swap.
What was the combo before these heads? Something is really not making sense here. It should make 310 WITH those heads and only 9.5:1.
sooo 380rwhp out of a 9.5:1 N/A 306?????
Yeeeeeaaaaa.... (like bob's discount furniture) I DOUBT it.

depending on whether or not it was on a dynojet or a mustang dyno, i've seen some pretty big variation on the same car/same tune between them with some local guys' cars... i've heard the guys on sbf tech dot com talk about up to 20% difference in power readings between them

but 380 hp n/a on 306 cubes with insanely oversized heads and off the shelf cam sounds a little fishy

post dyno sheets and shut us all up

Im not one to call someone a liar but... :bs: My motor made an honest 380 to the tire in good air with basically the same cylinder head and 10.75:1 compression... and those are strong numbers for my combo.

I dont see a 67mm turbo making much more than 550rwhp, if you had a 76mm turbo, with 17-18psi i would believe those numbers.

unfortunatly I am deployed right now and my dyno sheets aren't with me. I will concede that there are definitly variations on dynos, even same brand dyno side by side will vary considerably.
All I can give you is track times, it ran 11.1 @ 135 mph in the quarter at 3350lbs on a slipping clutch. The ET doesn't mean much because of the slipping clutch, but you can get the rough estimate on hp. 26 x 11.5 ET streets with 3:73 gears on a stock T5. I do have a copy of the slip in my photo album somewhere.
It was weighed at the time of the run @ Maple Grove

I've gotta see the combo for that, because my 9.25:1 347 only made 362rwhp, and the guys at the shop were pretty impressed. Granted, i could have better heads and a different intake and carb and probably make 380+, i also have 45 extra cubes. 380rwhp with ANY 306 that isn't running 7500rpm is nearly unbelievable....i'd have to see the combo and dyno sheets on this one.

the 310 was with a 65mm throttle body and windsor Jr heads, I got the heads used so I don't know if any work was done to them but they looked pretty stock to me. Honestly I am not positive on the cam, may have been the FMS B cam.
