Vortech aftercooler w/ fox throttle body swap?

Here is an interesting question that I haven't seen brought up yet. If we swap to a fox throttle body on our cars, could we run the Vortech aftercooler from a fox?

As you guys may have noticed, I'm looking into boost options.......

I do believe that is an added benefit. Even if the charger is a little out of position, it shouldn't be that big of a deal to make it work with the fox TB setup.

i hope it works that is the big reason i want to switch to a fox tb so i can run an aftercooler, if that one doesn't fit i'm going to have a custom one made.

I've tried it with no success.. one it hits the Strut Tower... Now if you switched to a FOX accessory setup and run the FOX brackets for the SuperCharger.. It might work... Hood clearence will be the only problem.

I wanted to do this so bad before also but I don't want to go with the Fox brackets and stuff. Just build yourself a DIY menthanol kit and spray your way to 30 more HP or just buy one from Snow.

i know eades called up Vortech and they told him that even with the fox setup it won't work. there just isn't enough room. if your look at buying a supercharger with a intercooler/aftercooler, get a procharger. they come with an intercooler.

Or you could get a spearco and drop that in w/ the vortech when you get a chance. It might require a little fabbing but I hear it isnt that bad.

I dont think that would work, theres like no room between the charger and the tb to run the pipes.

in an old 5.0 mag they had a 94 w/vortech and the aftercooler, but didn't have stock hood and don't know if they switched to the accessory's to the fox style.
