Just been waiting the past 2 days to get the belt back on...Turns out that for some odd reason, the "new" lineup of the pulleys caused the belt to be a tad too tight. Luckily, I had a really small alt pulley, and I was able to swap it out while the alt was still bolted up.
Jose (former member here) came by just to double check all my "work"
and keep an eye on all the pulleys and potential oil leaks when I fired her up.
Started up on first try as if nothing were wrong. Alt reading fine...checked the Newly polished Fox VC's (esp in the corners) for leaking and none yet.
Since I had a LOT of other work to do today, I didnt get to do anything more than drive her around the block. (didnt even get to clean it).
All told, about 6 weeks downtime waiting for the Vortech to come back, and getting it all back together. Thanks to those who have helped me out over the past 5-6 weeks with all the little issues.
