I need a new bypass valve for my vortech sq. I have a intercooler also. I am seeing 13lbs of boost. My car bucks alot daily driving. They said I need a new bypass valve thats bigger so air can be released more or something. The stock bosch one is horrible. Which is a really good one? Why is Mondo Race Bypass Valve more money? Do I need flange adapter for $20? Steel or aluminum? What do you guys have?

Your stock bypass should be good till about 14-16 psi. I am gonna be running a Mondo bypass (and I'd reccomend getting the flange, as you'll need to weld the BPV somewhere in the engine bay) @ 18 PSI roughly. You can also get a Vortech mini-race bypass valve. That one seems to be a little more user friendly.

This is supposed to be a decent upgrade BPV.

Also, Hyperboost DV's are supposed to be pretty good valves. My friend had one on his VW 1.8t, worked great at 20psi. Linky!
