Vortech Oil line, SSP car with oil cooler

My car has an oil cooler that came with the SSP package. There isnt enought clearance to take out the extension for the oil pressure sending unit, My new fittings will hit the oil cooler can I just thread the supercharger oil line parts from the kit into this factory extension?? I am positive it would be safe, just trying to make sure, vortech tech line is closed until january

It should be ok, just make sure the oil flows through the filter before the cooler section so you feed the blower cleaner oil.

I drill and tap the extensions all the time insted of using that 3 piece set-up Vortech supplies, I tap it with a 1/8"NPT

I got it all line out, I got a T fitting that screwed into the stock extension and went from there, tight fit with that damn oil cooler on it! Where do you tap for your oil supply rick??

The supply is from the T you just put in the stock extention. I tap the long extension and just add a 1/8NPT to -4an fitting and hook up the Vortech line to it.

thanks rick, do you care to go into detail for me how the supercharger belt tensioner mounts?? Do I use a washer inbetween the pulley and the tensioner plate?? Which hole of the 2 round ones beside the elongated hole do I mount the pulley to??? they skimped on the details at this part a little if you ask me
