Im wondering if my slight oil leak is from the fitting into the drain pan, or a crack in the hose.

PROBLEM IS: The Vortech hose has the "knitty" material stuff on the outside, which makes it REALLY hard to see a cut.

Joe (Vib) said Vortech is the only place to get that EXACT hose.

QUESTION:

Is there any reason that we cant use a standard black hose from Pep Boys or Autozone to replace that hose???

I know Jose (st8stang036) uses one, and he said there are no problems with it..

Thanks
RC

Yea Summit has the hose but I dont think it comes in 1/2 inch. They only list 7/16 and 9/16 in the catalog.

What about if I can use a "regular" hose from the local auto shop?
