Alright guys, i got a couple questions on what to do. There are full vortech SQ SC for like 3200 i found. It includes everything you need. But i also just saw tuner kits, that comes with everything except fuel pump, injectors, and chip. Alot of things i heard from people is that the fuel pump and injectors that come with the full kit aren't that good, and you can just program your own chip. I may seem better in the long run because i could get better injectors, fuel pump, ETC. What are your guys input on this?

yea for our cars (newer GT's) theh suppplied 30# injectors are fairly small for the application which can cause paranoia of running on lean conditions. just remember when you upgrade your injectors, you gotta calibrate your MAF accordingly. the supplied chip is not the best either but what you can do (since the chip doesnt actually come in the kit but they give you a vouucher for a free one) is call them and fax the voucher and tell them you would rather a blank chip since they do not do custom tuning. hence you can take the chip to the nearest SCT'er and have it programmed for fairly cheap considering you supplied the chip.

Exactly. Buy the tuner kit then buy some 42# injectors, fuel pump, new MAF and get a SCT. I've got a 90mm MAF from the SVT Lightning and an 03 Cobra fuel pump. Good luck.

That sound like a great idea, I am also in the market for buying a supercharger, I think that I might definetly go with the tuner kit. I talked to a dealer here in St. Louis and he said that he could program my stock chip just the same. Above was mentiioned that 42 lb injectors were used, is this overkill and do you need a pump to match the size injectors.

I've heard that alot of people use the 03 cobra fuel pump, thats probably what i'll look into. I'm also looking for a used programmer on ebay. But this seems like a decent deal: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...tem=7919449029&category=33741&sspagename=WDVW

get an 04 aviator fuel pump , works great and alot cheaper than the 03 cobra stuff , just drill a few holes in the stock GT bucket assembly that holds the pump so it doesnt pump it empty , as far as tuning , check here www.modularfordpowerhouse.com ..... or PM KenB on modulardepot.com .......
