I have a 93 LX 5.0 with an AOD trans. I recently put a Vortech V1 on it and its a beast! I have now noticed after hammering on it that the trans tends to skip (or VERY quickly shift out of second) second gear and go right to third. Is this normal????
It also does it when I got from "1" to "D" manually. I do not want to bang on the trans, so I wont attempt the 1-d-1 shuffle....
PS- Have plenty of fluid, its been recently changed and shifts fine when I grandma drive it. Also, it seems to shift early when in second gear and when I slam on the gas....
