Sweet glad to see I suppose Scott? has started his own company! The VT stg 1-3 cams live on baby!

No that is not Jim or Scott that everybody knew.

VTCompetitionengines.com is the company that built the stuff for VTEngines. VTEngines is where Jim and Scott worked.

VTCompetitionengines is not VTEngines, they are separate companies.

Long story and I am not getting into any further...

You can see who VT Engines was and who VT Competition Engine Development is by going to vtcompetitionengines.com/history.html. It will tell you what happened, who is running things now, etc. I talked to Scott at VT Competition yesterday and they sell the VT grinds as well as new grinds they will be offering. Jim contacted me on another forum with a cam quesion post I had and said that he is the one who did grinds at VT before they went belly up and that he is Cushman Morotsports (I think) now.

You guys might want to consider who you dealing with:

Jim Cushman, Scott Cushman, and Chris Bower were VT Engines. They were ripping people off and that is why they were ran out of business. I have been trying to get my deposit for a build from them since last September. Fortunately, VTCED (the company who was actually doing all the work) is sitting on my parts so I will get those back (when I get back from Afghanistan) but at this point I am pretty sure I will never see any of the $4,000 I put down up front. There are many more who were also ripped off:

http://www.modularfords.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96049

That thread was locked after 80+ pages. There was another started for those customers trying to recover their losses.

So while the former customers are still trying to recover their losses through legal procedures and through their credit card companies, Jim who hasn't accepted any responsibility is back at it again.

You guys just might want to consider who you are dealing with before you send your money to a company (cushmanmotorsports) started by individuals who stole a lot of money from other Mustang owners.

you're not saying anything that people don't know. His name being associated with VT is definitely going to tarnish his rep, but it doesn't negate his talent and experience. I know that if i designed products for a company that went belly up and in the process screwed over a lot of people that i wouldn't expect all my work to all of a sudden be useless - he's reapplying it into his own business now. I suggest your earn some respect on this board before you throw around accusations on actual revered persons.
And this is the tech section, get on your soap box in the talk section.

Just so you know, QTRPONY was the one who brought VT's problems out to the public. He is out a fair bit of cash because of his dealings with VT and was left out to hang. He has the right to speak the way he does.

and attack VT he's entitled to do, even voice his opinion about VT to others - but Jim didn't control VT financials. When Enron went under they prosecuted those who were behind the scenes f'ing things up - not everyone who put in work for them down to the janitor. Choose your aim wisely, I don't appreciate blanket statements that were the purpose for even joining this board.

In VT's situation, there is 4 sides to the story, 1-The Cushman's, 2-VT's and 3-VTCED's, somewhere in the middle is 4-"THE TRUTH". People got lied to and ****ed over in this situation, QTRPONY was one of them. All 3 had contradicting stories, now who do you believe? QTRPONY has the right to voice his opinion regarding all 3 companies( VT, VTCED, and CMS )...

If you cared to read that ModularFord's thread you will see that he has personally dealt with Jim Cushman who last time I checked owns CMS, so yes, he does have the right to comment...

i've read it, and the assumption is that CMS is basically VT dejavu. Let his work with CMS define CMS, if i dont get the cams i ordered everyone will hear about it - but if you dont hear anything from CMS customers then no one should make generalized falsely correlated accusations.

Are the accusations false though? Just because a person goes from Company A to Company B does not clear his actions from Company A. There is going to be some backlash, especially from those that got ****ed and CMS is going to have to deal with it. That is a part of game from being a major player in a ****ed up situation. Time will tell. QTRPONY is not doing anything wrong by issuing that warning at this...
